Studio Etiquette
For the Folk Yoga and Wellness provides a relaxing and supportive environment for people to practice.
We encourage all students to be mindful of each other and ask that you consider the following while practicing here:

-
Booking your class in advance is essential. Bookings close 12 hours prior to class commencement time. If you have missed the booking window, please call or text to inquire if there is space available.
-
Sanitise your hands as you enter.
-
Please leave shoes at the door and place in the storage provided.
-
Turn off your mobile phone as you enter and place in storage provided to ensure other students are not disrupted from their practice.
-
Advise the teacher if you have any injuries, concerns or if you are pregnant (Congratulations!) before the class.
-
We suggest you refrain from eating any large meals for at least 2 hours prior to class to avoid digestive discomfort during practice.
-
Only bring your mat, towel and water bottle to the floor and place any other items in storage to ensure safety as the teacher and students walk around the room.
-
Yoga is a personal self-study practice; therefore we ask that you respect one another and keep pre class chatting to a minimum. The teacher is available to assist where needed.
-
Please refrain from wearing any strong scents within the studio space.
-
If you are using studio props during your practice, please remember to clean these and pack away prior to leaving the studio.
-
The studio is closed on public holidays.
-
Classes are subject to change without notice. Please ensure you check the website or app before arriving to class. In the event that a class can not be held due to illness or external factors students will be notified via text and email.
